Chile is one of the fastest developing countries in South America. However, as the country progresses, the gap between the wealthiest members of the community and individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds continues to widen. COVID-19 has expanded the gap when schooling went online and many families lacked access to the technology for children to further their education remotely. At the turn of the pandemic, many marginalized communities are working to provide students with the education that they missed during the pandemic, but do not have the capacity to do so.This summer, HXP Builders will construct two additional classrooms for a community outside of Viña Del Mar. With the added class space, the school will be able to more easily accommodate the number of students that want to enroll. These classrooms will also help to maintain safety standards as many buildings are subject to deterioration. Overall, 124 families and 26 workers will utilize and directly benefit from this space. Without the support of HumanitarianXP Builders, these classrooms would never be completed. Our builders will build a space of learning and growth from the ground up.
